Here are 10 creative cleaning tips and solutions to make cleaning a snap!

Spring cleaning is just around the corner which means the things we normally don’t clean on a regular basis. PÜR Evergreen’s Kimberly Gonzales is going to make Spring Cleaning a whole lot easier with her cleaning tips. 

Kimberly owned an eco-friendly cleaning company for over 9 years. As a mother of three, she knows a thing or two about cleaning. Here are some easy cleaning tips for you. Be sure to share! 

1. Take down light covers and put them in the dishwasher for an easy clean. Spray PÜR Evergreen all purpose cleaner before washing. It will give it an extra clean. 
2. Kids toys can be a challenge to clean when there are so many. Buy bins to rotate the toys. I buy mine from Target or Amazon. Label them and store them away. I bring mine out every few months and put the freshly washed ones in the bin to rotate for next time. My kids loved discovering their “lost” toys!  Washing them can be a piece of cake with our natural 100% cotton produce bags. Throw the toys such as LEGOS, play food, cars and more in them and place them in the top rack of the dishwasher making it easy to clean. I recommend doing this monthly. 
3. Floor vents can get dirty and dusty. I recommend removing them and adding them to the dishwasher for an easy clean. Vacuum any debris left in the vent.
4. Cleaning the top of cabinets can be a huge pain! With all the grease and gunk that collects! Use PÜR Evergreen all purpose cleaner in a stronger formula. Spray the top of it and let it set. Use a cloth or a razor to remove build up. Add parchment paper or wax paper to line the top with and replace every 6 months. I throw mine in the compost bin to compost. 
5. Take down curtains and give them a good washing. Using our plant based laundry detergent sheets for washing them will give them a refreshing aroma! 
6. Wash your walls! I know this sounds crazy but dust lines the walls and will help with allergies. Pour one cupful of PÜR Evergreen all purpose cleaner 4x concentrate to a bucket. 7. Take down shower curtains and give them a wash in the washing machine.
8. Take ice cubes and add them to your garbage disposal with a capful of PÜR Evergreen 4x Concentrate then run your disposal for a clean and refreshing scent! 
9. Cleaning out your dishwasher is important to keep it working properly. Remove the trap at the bottom of your dishwasher and put in a sink with dish soap. Spray the washer down with PÜR Evergreen all purpose cleaner and wipe clean. Add the filter back in the dishwasher and run it.
